The main event of the evening saw another huge upset on Season 8 as Danylo Voievodkin submitted Bailey Schoenfelder in the opening round.
The undefeated Ukrainian was an exciting but relatively untested talent but after a performance like that, there's no way that he wasn't going to be the latest addition to the heavyweight division.
However, the performance of the night was from 22-year old Kevin Vallejos whose only defeat as a pro was his prior appearance on the series where he lost to Jean Silva.
The Argentinian fighter blasted through Cam Teague in the first round with a tremendous display of boxing and shot selection, making him a no brainer signing.
Vallejos was originally set to fight Cage Warriors' Luke Riley in a fight that could certainly happen in the future after the performances that both men delivered in the past week.
Daniel Frunza also earned a contract despite coming in as the underdog, finishing Vadym Kutsyi in the second round after his opponent quickly started to tire.
Brazilian light heavyweight Kevin Christian earned a contract despite Dana White not being totally sold on him after his submission victory over Francesco Mazzeo.
Standing at 6'7, Christian didn't put his reach advantage to good use and instead got his hand raised via a submission off his back.
White said when awarding him a spot on the roster that matchmaker Mick Maynard had pushed for him to be signed which ended up being the deciding factor.
Last but not least, in the opening bout of the night, former training partners squared off in a relatively one-sided affair.
Alexia Thainara showed a lot of her game over three rounds against Rose Conceicao and impressed the UFC boss enough to join the strawweight division.
