On July 18, 2017, Sean O'Malley introduced himself to the UFC with this spectacular KO. Three years later, the world is at his feet.
Given his meteoric rise through the UFC welterweight ranks, it's hard to believe that it's only a shade over three years since Sean O'Malley announced himself to the wider world with this devastating first-round KO of Alfred Khashakyan during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Since then, the MMA Lab fighter has barely put a foot (or glove) wrong, amassing a perfect professional record of 12-0. His five-fight winning streak in the UFC has included Performance of the Night (x2) and Fight of the Night bonuses and he's in line for more recognition at the forthcoming World MMA Awards where he has been nominated for Knockout of the Year for his picture-perfect KO of Eddie Wineland at UFC 250. His rainbow-colored locks make a statement, but so too does his striking game. For the man they call ‘Sugar’, life is sweet.
