Why so serious? The Team Alpha Male clan clowns around with comic book shirts to lighten the mood in the locker room ahead of the fights.

We all know MMA fighters ask some superhuman feats of themselves when it comes to preparing for, and doing, battle in the cage. But the Team Alpha Male guys decided to represent the metaphor physically, backstage at Showdown Fights 11 in Utah, to take the frown out of fight night for two of their teammates competing on the card. 

Team captain Urijah Faber decided to immortalise for himself the meeting of, from left to right, Green Lantern (featherweight Lance Palmer), Batman (coach Duane Ludwig), Captain America (UFC bantamweight TJ Dillashsaw), Superman (lightweight Justin Buchholz) and Iron Man (UFC featherweight Chad Mendes) – UFC lightweight Danny Castillo, second from right, didn’t have compatible threads. 

You can’t argue with their method; two wins out of two on the night is certainly no joke.
