No WWE for VanZant

Dancing With the Stars success story, Paige VanZant has eschewed more mainstream fame to concentrate on fighting. She pulled out of a role in the remake of Kickboxer and turned down a role as a performer in the WWE so she could fight again in the UFC this year.

Rampage to fight Ortiz? 

After their Bellator 103 fight was scrapped in 2013, Quinton Jackson is open to fighting Tito Ortiz again. “I think we’ll come in and put on a good show. It’ll suck to knock my friend out, but I gotta get a knockout,” he says.

Notorious negotiator

Conor McGregor has admitted the ‘retirement’ he announced on Twitter in April was just a negotiation tactic. But the UFC called his bluff and removed him from the UFC 200 main event. The silver lining? We got Brock back to bolster the card.

Behind-the-scenes sparring

Ever the diligent trainer, Nate Diaz found one way to stay sharp between fights with Conor McGregor while he was backstage at UFC 199. According to Team Alpha Male coach Justin Buchholz, he got into a fight with Clay Guida’s heavyweight brother Jason, which turned into a group brawl when “about 50 people” got involved.
