Rip your opponent away from the fence and down to the ground with a simple single-leg takedown
Ricky Lundell
The BJJ black belt and NCAA Division I wrestling prodigy presents his MMA wall-work masterclass with Dan Hardy
1 - Dan has retreated against the fence, so Ricky attacks him with an overhand right from orthodox stance to close the distance.
2 - Ricky steps his right leg to the outside of Dan’s lead leg so his knee is placed behind it.
3 - Ricky wraps his arms around Dan’s leg and tightens his hold with a Gable grip.
4 - By leaning into him, Ricky traps Dan’s left leg between his right shoulder and leg to control him.
5 - To take Dan down, Ricky first steps across with his left leg, which disrupts his balance.
6 - He steps in the opposite direction with his right leg to pull Dan off the wall and whip him to the ground.
