To young Glenn Lawler this walking climbing frame is known simply as Daddy, but to the rest of the world Robbie Lawler is so much more.
Some would say he’s the people’s champion, a guy with so many miles on the MMA clock that when he captured the UFC welterweight title in December it was like a victory for the old school – fans and fighters alike.
This perfect family moment was captured by FO’s own cover photographer during a private American Top Team dinner for Lawler and his family to celebrate the champion’s success. As the first UFC belt holder from the esteemed South Florida gym it’s likely celebrations went on long into the night, though not for Glenn and his father, who were home in time for a bedtime story.
