CLINCH CLEAR TO DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN

1. Kenny and Pedro are in the over/under clinch position. Kenny has his left hand in the crux of Pedro’s right elbow with his right hand underneath Pedro’s armpit placed firmly on his back.

2. Kenny frees himself from the clinch by pulling his right arm out from underneath Pedro’s armpit. However, he keeps his left hand in the crux of Pedro’s elbow to keep him at distance.

3. Kenny changes levels and pushes Pedro’s arm away. He then drives forward off of his left leg into Pedro’s right hip.

4. Now deep into the shot, Kenny clasps his hands behind Pedro’s legs and puts his right knee in between his legs to finish off the shot.

CLINCH BODY LOCK TAKEDOWN

1. Kenny and Pedro are in the over/under clinch position. Kenny places his left hand in the crux of Pedro’s right elbow and has his right hand underneath Pedro’s armpit and on his back.

2. While still in the clinch, Kenny clasps his hands together, and changes levels by extending his left leg outwards and driving his right knee in between Pedro’s legs. Once in this position, Kenny begins to drive forward.

3. Kenny rises back up and continues to drive forward until he takes Pedro down and lands in half guard.
