Chuck’s low-maintenance chic typifies his laid-back persona. Learn to swagger like Liddell as the man himself guides FO through some of his ice-cool items.
Lifestyle tees
Whether walking out to the cage, or hitting the club scene, you’ll usually spot Liddell sporting one of the latest lifestyle MMA tees that he gets sent from sponsors and friends’ companies. “A lot of the stuff I get through I wear but I just have way too much... I get [sent] some crazy stuff and I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing it.” One of his preferred designs is the Hypothermia T-shirt from TCB (Taking Care of Business) Fightwear. This frosty-looking tee was the same walk-in shirt worn by Liddell for his fight against Rich Franklin at UFC 115. (TCBfightwear.com)
Designer denim
You’ll always find Chuck matching up his favorite lifestyle tee with a pair of casual kicks and distressed designer jeans. Some of his preferred denim comes from True Religion. (truereligionbrandjeans.com)
Footwear
When taking a break from training in the buff alongside new girlfriend Heidi Northcott, Chuck can be seen trekking around town in an understated but versatile pair of lifestyle trainers from brands like Puma and Converse. He also wears the Reebok ZigTech runners the couple promote in the aforementioned viral video. (reebok.com)
Luxury rides
Liddell boasts an assortment of high-end sports cars in his garage, including a Lamborghini Gallarado, Hummer H2 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo. But Chuck’s ride of choice is a Ferrari F430 Spider with custom sound system. “The Ferrari is probably my favorite out of the sports cars that I own,” he affirms. “I just got the new Range Rover, that’s pretty sick. It’s a fast, comfortable car, nice size and it’s great to drive around in.”
Breitling Bentley watch
Complimenting his casual jeans and T-shirt attire, Chuck accentuates his ‘luxury casual’ look with high-end accessories like the Breitling Bentley wristwatch. “It has a 24-hour face. It takes a little bit of getting used to when you put it on because the hour hand only goes round once a day,” laughs Chuck. (breitlingforbentley.com)
iPad
When taking a break from training and punching opponents in the face, The Iceman likes to chill out with his iPad. Chuck uses his when traveling and for playing games at home – though he concedes he doesn’t always get a chance. “To be honest my kids probably play with it more than me. It keeps them occupied.” (store.apple.com)
BlackBerry
Chuck’s well known for his love of texting. His photographic confidant Eric Williams says: “He’s not a big phone talker. But if you text him he’ll text you right back.” His weapon of choice is the BlackBerry. Chuck says: “There’s another one coming out for Verizon that I want to check out. I like getting the newest one.” (blackberry.com)
House gadgets
Liddell modestly states that he has “a few” flat screen TVs at his California home. Chuck adds he also has a game room even though he’s “not much of a gamer”. His guests are prone to getting competitive though. “The guys that come over and train at the house, they’ll be playing and they’ll knock somebody’s score off and somebody will try and knock theirs off. It’s fun to watch.” At home The Iceman also uses a Mac computer that runs ‘Boot Camp’, a smart partitioning utility that allows him to choose between either Windows or Mac operating systems when he starts it up.
