Europe’s largest martial arts expo hit London once again for another year, hosting everything from film screenings to meet and greets, competitions to showcases.

Taking place at the vast Excel Centre in London’s Docklands area, the expo reached it’s tenth year in style, drawing appearances from UFC stars Antonio Rodrigo ‘Minotauro’ Nogueira, Michael Bisping and even Octagon girl Arianny Celeste, as well as boxers Wladimir Klitschko, David Haye and even members of Bruce Lee’s family.

Fighters Only was there, and we had some huge news. Our World Mixed Martial Arts Awards were launched and fans were able to vote online from a specially set-up polling station.

Fans travelled from around the country to visit the show, and as has been the case in recent years, Seni was split into zones, each with it’s own distinct feel. The Powersport zone took care of those interested in improving their physique, the Classical zone attracted those more interested in the traditional arts, and the Fightsport zone pulled in those after a taste of real combat sports.

There were competitions running over the entire weekend covering everything from Thai boxing to fencing (as well the massive Gracie Invitational BJJ competition, now bigger than ever) but the real show stealer was of course the evening event Pain and Glory, a mix of kickboxing and MMA action.

Many names from the world of MMA could be found strolling about the venue, with keen-eyed fans spotting the likes of Dan Henderson, Jeff Monson, James Thompson, Paul Kelly, Jason Lambert, Dan Hardy, Jim Wallhead, Paul Taylor, Andre Winner, Mark Epstein and of course, our very own Ian Freeman.

For everyone who stopped by the Fighters Only stand, thanks for the continued support. See you there next year!
