Issue 011

March 2006

The 38 year old former presidential bodyguard from Georgia has an impressive fight record 13 – 5 and has faced some tough opponents including Jeff Monson and Antonio Silva.

He hails from Georgia but has lived in the UK for the past decade with his wife. As a teenager he started Olympic wrestling and later went on to become a Sambo style fighter with excellent suplex and ground ‘n’ pound skills. Weighing in at about 242lbs more than half Tengiz’s wins (seven) have been by TKO’s. He has submitted four of his opponents and two of his encounters went to a decision. While he hasn’t been on top form of late he is confident of reversing the trend against his next opponent Buzz.
