O GOSHI TO JUJI GATAME (MAJOR HIP THROW TO ARMBAR)
1. Jimmy (left) grips Bobby’s left sleeve with his right hand, and underhooks Bobby’s right arm with his left, taking a deep grip around the back.
2. To help set up the throw, Jimmy puts Bobby off balance by pulling up and toward himself.
3. Jimmy turns his hips as he steps his left foot inside Bobby’s left, and follows by stepping his right foot inside Bobby’s right.
4. Keeping his back straight, Jimmy drives his hips up with his legs, lifting Bobby into the air. Bending at the waist, Jimmy throws Bobby to the mat.
5. When Bobby lands after the o goshi his arm is extended, prime position for an armbar. Jimmy starts by stepping his right foot in front of Bobby’s face.
6. Jimmy drops his hips below Bobby’s elbow joint and tucks Bobby’s arm to his chest as he falls.
7. Jimmy makes sure to have Bobby’s little finger against his chest and arches his hips up to finish the armbar.
