Justin Gaethje against any of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor, Tony Ferguson or Anthony Pettis? Yes please.

After scoring a big first-round knockout win over James Vick at UFC Fight Night 135, Justin Gaethje wants the loser of the UFC 229 headliner pitting Khabib Nurmagomedov against Conor McGregor for the UFC lightweight title.

Gaethje halted his two-fight skid two weekends back in impressive fashion against surging lightweight Vick, having suffered to stoppage losses in a row to Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier.

Now, Gaethje is chomping at the bit to get back into the cage and would love his opponent to be either Nurmagomedov or McGregor. In fact, he’s even ready to face Tony Ferguson at UFC 229 if Anthony Pettis drops out of their contender fight through injury.

“We’re right back in the mix,” Gaethje told TMZ Sports. “Another one or two wins and I’m in it. Another finish like that. I’ll even fight the loser of Khabib and Conor.”

“If something happens with Anthony Pettis – he stubs a toe or rolls an ankle – I’m in versus him [Ferguson]. that’s for damn sure,” Gaethje added. “He’s coming off a leg injury; I’ll go and chop it off the rest of the way.

“My weight’s always good,” Gaethje said. “I don’t cut a lot of weight so that wouldn’t be a problem.”

Geathje is 2-2 in the UFC after initially opening his UFC account with a thrilling win over Michael Johnson. Overall, Gaethje has a 19-2 record with 17 of his wins coming by stoppage.
