MODIFIED KOSOTO GARE (MINOR OUTER REAPING THROW):
- Jimmy (white gi) grips Bobby’s left sleeve with his right hand, and grips on the back with his left hand.
- Jimmy, faking that he’s going to throw Bobby forward, begins to step his left leg in front of Bobby’s stance, which Bobby blocks with his hip.
- As Bobby blocks, Jimmy sneaks his left leg behind Bobby’s right and plants the foot on the mat inside Bobby’s right, controlling that leg.
- Jimmy slips his right hand under Bobby’s left arm, controlling Bobby’s left shoulder, and clamps down on Bobby’s back with his left arm. Jimmy simultaneously takes a step backward with his right leg, placing the ball of the foot on the mat behind his left leg.
- Jimmy now pushes off his right foot, lifts with his left leg and catapults Bobby onto his back to finish the throw.
