A TRAINING ODYSSEY

It may look like a piece of kit pulled straight out of a sci-fi movie but MMA fans can soon look forward to their own personal trainer complete with artificial intelligence.

The VIP Coach Monitor is a heavy bag embedded with sensors that are connected to a touch screen monitor. Users can choose the workout they want and are guided by an on-screen trainer who pushes them through the exercises.

As you hit the bag, pressure sensors monitor your strikes, providing you with acute information on how to improve your power and accuracy.

Anthony Morales, inventor of the VIP Coach Monitor, believes that most workout equipment is dated and it’s time to introduce something more interactive.

“We are providing a dynamic cardiovascular machine that coaches you in a fun yet engaging manner, while delivering workout data to users at the touch of a button,” he said.

“Our technology will give you a workout that you have never experienced before. Users will get to engage their mind and body for a fun, exciting and motivational full-body workout.”

As a coach to professional fighters, Anthony understands that it will not completely replace a human trainer, but can still be seen as a valid tool to refining a fighters game.

“Like all new technology, the VIP Coach Monitor is meant to serve as a tool, not a replacement for real coaches. I like to go out of my way to help people out and, by inventing this machine, it allows me to help people reach their health and fitness goals with new and innovative ways of utilizing the mind, body and spirit of martial arts.”
