"The Magician" talks us through a fistful of his best moments in the cage.

1. Johnny Bedford, The Ultimate Fighter Season 14

That was a really satisfying fight for me because he kept going around telling everybody that he was a Jackson’s killer and that he put all of our guys to sleep. He said he was going to do the same thing to me. All this time he was telling other guys this but to my face he was trying to be my best friend. He was telling me one thing to my face, trying to hang out with me and behind my back he was being a backstabbing little bitch. I ended up knocking him out. Not only did I knock him out but I knocked him back seven years. He didn’t even know where he was. They asked him where he was after the knockout and he said he was in Ohio. No, we were in Vegas. I took away seven years of his life. It was awesome.

2. T.J. Dillashaw, The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 Finale

Definitely T.J. Dillashaw. I have got to have him in this list. Without T.J. Dillashaw I would never have been in the UFC and be the most successful knockout artist we have seen today. For me, it was the revival of my career. At that time in my life, I was thinking about quitting fighting and just being a coach. I was going to sit back and watch everyone else fulfill their dreams. Being on TUF 14 gave me the opportunity to step up and become the fighter that everybody knows and loves today.

3. Jessie Riggleman, Ultimate Warrior Challenge 8

They claimed this guy was going to be the most unstoppable prospect who would just take people down and punish them. I showed that his wrestling ability was nowhere near mine. I showcased a level of striking that nobody had ever seen me do before. I hit this man with a flying headkick, a flying knee and a superman punch all in repetition, back to back and all this dude did was put up his hands and take a deep breath. I could see the defeat in his actions. It’s like the kid who knows he can’t win the race because the other guy is just too fast.

4. Demetrious Johnson, UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Dodson and UFC 191

I have to talk about both of our fights. I got into the Octagon with the man who is the best pound-for-pound champion in the world. The first fight, I thought I won the fight. Even Dana White thought I won the fight.

The second time when we ran it back I didn’t perform the way that I knew I could have and he walked away with the win. It's satisfying to know that I am the only man who has gone ten rounds with Demetrious Johnson and not have been finished or embarrassed by him. For me, that is an accomplishment all its own. I know I can go round-for-round, tit-for-tat with the best pound-for-pound champion in the world.

5. John Moraga, Nemesis Fighting: MMA Global Invasion

This fight will always be on any list. It’s not the fight in the UFC, it was a fight in the Dominican Republic. It was some backwater show, where we all thought we were going to get paid and have a nice vacation. But there was no round keeper. The first round was about 11 minutes long. The second round was about seven minutes. The third round was close, it was like five and a half minutes. As a fighter you now when you are close to five minutes. We just looked at each other and kept fighting. At the end of the day I won. I had more strikes landed and more takedowns. He will never give me that. It was just the most ridiculous fight I have ever been part of. To top it off, we were never paid for the fight!
