‘Uncle Creepy’ Ian McCall’s long anticipated return to the UFC Octagon, following a 18-month lay-off, will take place on a different day at a different event after Justin Scoggins was forced off tomorrow’s UFC 201 card due to weight cutting issues.

McCall took the news pretty well all things considered and is determined to continue to his weight cutting process. Why might you ask? Well, there is of course a benefit to still making weight which includes his contracted ‘show’ money.

McCall described the ordeal he’s going through to ensure when he steps on the scales he hits the 125lb mark. “So much fun not being able to sleep when cutting weight,” said McCall. “It’s sacrifice kids.”

The 32-year-old flyweight actually defended Scoggins as well as trying to look at the silver lining by way of a UFC cheque. “As much as I like Justin, I want to say something, but whatever,” said McCall. “Weight cutting isn’t good for you, and if you don’t do it right, he’s young, he’s probably stupid about it.

“But he’s a good fighter, so hopefully this won’t tarnish his name too much. It’s weird that I feel bad for him, but this weight cutting is horrible for you. I’m just getting it done because I’m getting paid.”

With this fight off the card, the UFC have had to reshuffle the deck a little bit and below is your new look UFC 201 bout order.
