UFC president Dana White sits down with Big Boy Radio and talks about a few UFC-related topics.
It’s a disarmingly frank interview, possibly because ‘Big Boy’ is outside the MMA world.
White reveals that, years ago, contract negotiations with Matt Hume broke down when Hume said “Why don’t I come over there and beat your f–king ass?”
He says he replied, “Well, it won’t get you any more money.”
White also reveals that “the only time in thirteen years, all the fights we have ever done – Lyoto Machida beat Tito Ortiz, I wrote him a personal check… I literally bonused him myself.”
