If you follow the kickboxing world then you will know that Tyrone Spong is one of the most dynamic and exciting heavyweights out there today. A top contender and now coming into his prime, Spong marries speed and technicality with high aggression.
The result is ferocious non-stop action and he has some legendary knockouts on his highlight reel. With the demise of K-1, Spong has now signed with the new top kickboxing promotion GLORY and he is also looking to dabble in MMA. His mixed martial arts debut is coming soon and he is training for it at the Blackzilians camp in Florida.
This half-hour documentary looks at Spong’s life as a youth in Holland and his journey through the fight game. Filmed by the same people that produced The Reem documentary, we meet Spong’s mother and see some old pictures of him as a child and go right through to his big knockout win over the legendary Peter Aerts earlier this year.
