Whatever you think of president Trump, at least he’s supported MMA.
He welcomed UFCs 28, 30 and 31 to his casino and owned a stake in the Affliction organization – though that turned out to be one of his many failed ventures.
Shortly after this press conference for Affliction: Trilogy at Trump Tower, Fedor Emelianenko’s main-event opponent, Josh Barnett, failed a drug test, the fight collapsed, the show was canceled and the promotion folded.
Let’s hope Donald’s White House tenure is rather more successful.
