What advice would you give to the new generation of fighters from Cage Warriors to the UFC?

Enjoy it. Time flies!

What do you like doing in your spare time away from fighting?

I'm a family man. I love walking my dog and going out for food with my wife.

What was your motivation and reason behind taking a short-notice fight?

I will fight anyone as long as I can make the weight in time!

How much better do you feel at featherweight, and how do you think about your performance now that you have moved up a weight class?

I feel a thousand times better, healthy (and) filled at the weight.

If you were not a fighter, what would you be?

I imagine (I'd be) an entrepreneur.
