The second show of the PFL 2024 Regular Season takes place tonight (April 12), with the Light Heavyweights and Lightweights ready to take centre stage.

The promotion will head to The Theatre at Virgin Hotels with many familiar faces from previous PFL tournaments and the Bellator roster set to compete.

In the main event, 2023 PFL Champion Impa Kasanganay returns to the Light Heavyweight division in his pursuit of back-to-back PFL championships. Since his title win Kasanganay once, on the PFL vs Bellator CHAMPS card, in which gave Johnny Eblen a torrid time over their 15-minute affair, giving the Bellator champion one of his closest matchups in recent memory. Eblen remained undefeated, taking the split decision. In his return to the Smart Cage, he will face promotional newcomer, Alex Polizzi in a 205lbs bout. Polizzi enters the PFL Regular season on the back of a loss to former Bellator title challenger Karl Moore.

In the co main event, 2022 PFL Champion Rob Wilkinson is back after being removed from the 2023 Regular Season due to elevated levels of testosterone-to-epitestosterone after his bout with Thiago Santos. On Friday night, Brit Tom Breese will be the man standing opposite him. The seasoned MMA veteran enters the tournament following an impressive first round submission win against Cleiton Silva at PFL Europe 4. Since parting ways with the UFC in 2021, Breese has been in good form, amassing a 6-1 record.

Fan favourite Clay Collard welcomes former Bellator champion Patricky Pitbull to the PFL Lightweight division. Collard has regularly featured in the PFL tournaments over the last four years, making it all the way to the final last year, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Oliver Aubin-Mercier. Patricky Pitbull has been a staple of the Bellator scene, having completed for the promotion 26 times. As fans have seen with so many athletes, since PFL’s acquisition of Bellator, Pitbull becomes one of the latest names to make the move over to PFL’s tournament format.

Mads Burnell follows in the footsteps of Pitbull and enter his first PFL tournament too. Having spent the majority of his career at Featherweight, the Dane will make the move to 155lbs and test himself against Michael Dufort in the opening round of the tournament. Dufort returns to the Smart Cage after a picking up wins against Wilson Varela, Luis Pena and Joe Giannetti on UAE Warriors, ARES FC and Cage Titans, respectively.

Sadibou Sy will make the drastic move from Welterweight to Light Heavyweight and compete in the 205lbs tournament. After a good run at 170lbs, in which Sy fought his way to the final in 2023, the new-look Light Heavyweight will face Josh Silveira as he chases a second PFL championship, in a different weight division.
