Khamzat Chimaev has shaken up the UFC's middleweight rankings following his impressive win this past weekend at UFC 308.

It was a big test for him to face former champion Robert Whittaker over five rounds but the undefeated contender passed it with flying colours.

As a result, in the latest UFC rankings shuffle, Chimaev jumped up 10 spots to now sit above "The Reaper" at 185-pounds.

With only former champions in Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland between him and the champion, Dricus Du Plessis, it seems increasingly likely that he will get the next shot at the title.

Shara Magomedov has now entered the middleweight rankings following his fourth consecutive win inside the Octagon.

His incredible spinning backfist knockout over Armen Petrosyan sees him claim the #14-sport, replacing Chris Curtis in the top 15.

Despite his jaw-dropping win over Max Holloway in the main event that may have landed him the fighter of the year award, Ilia Topuria did not move in the pound-for-pound rankings.

He remains as the #4, behind Jon Jones, Alex Pereira and Islam Makhachev.

Holloway did move down one spot to #12 with flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja swapping places with him.

Lower down on the list, Charles Oliveira has moved out of the top 15 in place of Israel Adesanya.

This marks the first time that "Do Bronx" has not been in the rankings since May of 2021.

The light heavyweight rankings also underwent some small changes with Magomed Ankalaev replacing Jiří Procházka at the top contender in the division following his win over Aleksandar Rakić in Abu Dhabi.

Former title challenger Khalil Rountree is also up one spot to the #6 position which is also held by Nikita Krylov.

Lerone Murphy also moved one spot up at featherweight to #11 following his win over Dan Ige this past Saturday night.
