The ultimate post-workout smoothie

What with DC’s legendary gumbo waiting for you at home, it’s going to be hard to stay focused between sessions at the gym or on the mats, so here’s my favorite post-workout smoothie recipe to help keep you firing all day before you indulge in the evening.

 Beetroot

 Apples

 Carrots

 Strawberries

 Blueberries

 Red grapes

 Lemons

 Spinach

 Kale

 Parsley

 Chard leaves

 Celery

 Hemp seeds

 Chia seeds

 Coconut oil

 Coconut water

 Whey protein


Instructions

Simply add all ingredients to a blender with 16oz coconut water and a scoop of unflavored whey protein, then blitz and enjoy.
