It’s a momentous day in MMA history as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signs a bill to legalize the sport in the state. Rousey attends the signing along with UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta and former 185lb champ Chris Weidman.

Continuing to build her brand outside the fight game, ‘Rowdy’ has an exclusive photo shoot with fashion brand Buffalo Jeans. “Can’t wait for you to see,” the Olympic silver medallist writes to her millions of fans on Instagram.

Time magazine names Rousey as one of the world’s 100 most influential people. She says it’s a “huge honor” to have Tina Fey pen her entry. The comedian writes: “I recommend you immediately get a tattoo of Ronda’s full “DNB” quote.”
Sunday April 24
Rousey, whose coach, Edmond Tarverdyan, is Armenian, lights candles at Glendale Fighting Club in California to mark 101 years since the Armenian Genocide on its remembrance day. “History forgotten will be history repeated,” she says.
