Amanda Nunes reveals her favorite foods ahead of her UFC 200 title challenge
Q What are your essential fight-camp foods?
A My five must-haves are eggs, oatmeal, a lot of fruit, pasta and coffee.
Q Are you a good cook?
A My girlfriend does all of my meals in and out of fight camp. The signature meal I prepare is white rice, beans, meat and salad.
Q What is your favorite meal when you’re training?
A My favorite fight-camp meal is just turkey lettuce wraps. My cheat meal or cheat food is definitely chicken wings and I gorge on beans. I love beans!
Q What’s in your freezer?
A I keep lots of other vegetables and Ezekiel bread in the freezer.
Q What do you eat after the weigh-ins are done?
A I don’t change anything up too much. I stick to the same meals that I have been eating throughout the camp. I look forward to eating Brazilian food after a fight.
Q What’s your favorite sauce?
A My sauce of choice is tomato ketchup.
Q What don’t you eat?
A I don’t eat anything that’s fried.
