There were nine finishes on Saturday night at UFC Vegas 104, on a fight card that was low on star quality but nonetheless, seemed to deliver excitement in spades.
In the main event, Roman Dolidze (15-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) evened the score against Marvin Vettori (19-8-1 MMA, 9-6-1 UFC), whom he lost to in March of 2023. Just as they did in their first encounter, the middleweights needed the judges scorecards to seperate them, with the Georgian getting the nod this time around.
No judges were required in the co-main event, as veteran Muay Thai specialist Chidi "Bang Bang" Njokunai (25-10 MMA, 5-3 UFC) finished his Brazilian opponent Elizeu Zaleski (25-9-1 MMA, 11-9-1 UFC) via TKO in the second round of their welterweight encounter.
All of the performance of the night bonuses went to fighters on the preliminary card. Carli Judice and Priscila Cachoeira both picked up 1st-round knockouts in the opening two fights, while Andre Lima and Carlos Vera secured rear-naked choke finishes, with all four fighters earning an extra $50,000.
