Utilize a judoka’s defense to counter a double-leg wrestling attack – the chin whip, or harai goshi

Jimmy Pedro Jr

The US Olympic coach and 6th degree black belt shows you, along with Aaron Kunuhiro, judo techniques that work for MMA

1 - Aaron shoots for a double-leg takedown on Jimmy.

2 - As Aaron pops up to his feet to turn the corner, Jimmy grabs his triceps.

3 - Jimmy begins to turn his hips away from Aaron to set up his throw.

4 - Jimmy brings his left leg to the outside to reap Aaron’s left knee.

5 - As he kicks back with his left leg, Jimmy pulls hard on Aaron’s arm to take him off his feet.

6 - Jimmy keeps a hold on Aaron’s arm as he hits the mat to stop him getting to his feet.

7 - He then drops to his knees and grabs a Kimura on Aaron’s left arm to submit him.
