Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson shows Johny Hendricks the secret of his powers.
It’s easy to forget after his final-minute title defeat to Robbie Lawler and recent weight-cutting issues, Johny Hendricks is an absolute monster. ‘Big Rigg’ has wins over the best at 170lb, including current UFC welterweight champ Lawler, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown. But he was made to look like a rank amateur in his February fight with Stephen Thompson. ‘Wonderboy’ subjected the Sooner State native to some serious abuse in the form of 24 precision power strikes. There’s just no response for that kind of pandemic of punishment other than a look of extreme anguish.
