Brian Foster reveals the gear that helped him train to become WSOF tournament champion.

A. Best of the bunch

“I have used many brands of headgear over the years for sparring but I’ve only liked a few. I’m using Venum at the moment.”

B. Get in my grille

“My essentials bag consists of my mouthpiece, cup and jock, wrestling and running shoes, headphones and things like that. I prefer the Fight Doctor or Unbreakable mouthpiece.”

C. Brand loyalty

“I’m using all Hayabusa shin guards right now. They have some of the best gear in our sport not to mention they have been with me since the beginning and I like that. That means a lot to me.”

D. Keep it casual

“As far as street clothes or non-training gear I wear a lot RVCA stuff. They have a great line of casual clothes. When I change out it’s usually into some BKE Jeans, my Chucks and a RVCA T-shirt.”

E. Tooled-up

“I have two gym bags actually. My equipment bag consists of my headgear, shin guards, knee pads and my gloves. My 16oz sparring gloves are Torque and my 10oz bag gloves are Hayabusa. They both work well for me.”

F. Short order

“I have a few different pairs that I’m partial to. I really like the Hayabusa, Venum and Clinch Gear fight shorts that I have.”

G. Pro protection

“I have no preference in hand wraps but I secure every wrap with tape for extra security. I gotta protect the paws (laughs). I would like to shout out to Diamond Cups too.”
