Former UFC star and Cyborg’s teammate says Ronda’s scared 

Rousey is ducking Cris, if she wasn’t then she would already have fought her. The fight would already be done. One of the reasons why Ronda ran into 135lb – she used to be a 145lb’er when she fought in Strikeforce, but she cut down to get away from Cris. If the fight could have happened it would have happened already as far as we are concerned, but Ronda wants to ride her glory trailer. I’m proud of her though. I’m proud of Ronda. She’s doing an amazing job. She’s putting MMA on the map for women like no other, and she’s a superstar in the sport, in films, and around the world. So you know, I’m proud of the girl. But she knows it all comes crashing down if she ever meets Cris.

Holly Holm’s coach and mentor defends her title opportunity

Holly Holm was a little surprised to get the call to fight Ronda so soon, but make no mistake, we wouldn’t have taken the fight if we didn’t think she was ready and capable of winning. Just look at Holly’s last Octagon performance. She was excellent. She defeated Marion Reneau everywhere; made the girl pull guard twice. To me that’s demoralizing that you can’t take somebody down because of movement, because of the range, because they’re scared to get to you. She tried to get the same armbar that Jessica Andrade got caught in, and right away Holly was able to defend it and pop out. Everything is coming together. You should see how strong she is, and she’s not a boxer anymore, she’s an MMA fighter.
