Q. Hi Ana, we know you’re super excited about your Fighters Only feature. How does it feel knowing you’ll been seen by hundreds of thousands of MMA fans across the world?
A. “It’s great, especially because I’m a genuine fan of Fighters Only. You guys do a great job so thank you for having me. I feel honored with this opportunity and can’t wait to see what your readers think.”
Q. Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you’ve been up to recently?
A. “I used to be a TV host and sports reporter in southern Brazil, but I’ve been living in Hawaii for 10 years now where I just finished my Master of Arts in Communication.”
Q. So what do you think of the sport of MMA right now?
A. “I’ve been a huge fan of MMA ever since I first saw it on TV. It’s such an exciting sport and I always watch it with my friends. I used to do martial arts when I was a teenager, and I’m actually a green belt in Kempo Karate. I’ve also done a bit of ring girl work so I know first-hand that to be a fighter you need a lot of dedication, training and dieting. As for the men and women, the talent pool right now is amazing.”
Q. Do you have a favorite fighter?
A. “I have quite a few. I like Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, Junior dos Santos, Lyoto Machida, Georges St Pierre, Royce Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping, just to mention a few. All of these guys have done so much for the sport.”
Q. What ambitions do you have for the future?
A. “To travel and explore different places and cultures, as well as learn new languages.”
Q. Finally, where can our readers keep up to date with what you’re doing?
A. “Check out my website anaravedutti.com, and my online pages; facebook.com/anaravedutti1, Twitter: @anaravedutti and Instagram: anaravedutti.
