Q. What are your five food must-haves?
A. “Let’s go with eggs, oatmeal, Sriracha sauce, coffee and peanut butter.”
Q. What do you gorge on?
A. “Breakfast food – and it has to be a buffet. I can’t choose between pancakes, waffles and French toast. I want all of it.”
Q. What do you cheat with?
A. “I’m going to get interesting here. I make ice cream out of almond milk, cottage cheese and little bit of sugar-free pudding mix. During training camp I like ice cream before I go to bed.”
Q. What’s your favorite bottled sauce?
A. “Oh s**t there are so many. Tabasco, Sriracha; but also I have bunch of bottles of different flavored mustard, like honey, spicy. I like a lot of sauces.”
Q. What dessert do you enjoy?
A. “Oh, ice cream with all the fixings. I like a bit of ice cream with my brownies and cookie dough and Oreos and Hershey’s kisses. I go to those self-serve yogurt bars and I’m the guy slamming my bowl on the table so I can add even more toppings.”
Q. What’s your signature dish?
A. “My signature dish is anything with eggs. I work wonders with eggs. I make quiche, frittatas and all those other French words.”
Q. What’s your favorite meal during fight camp?
A. “I eat all kinds of stuff. I make frittatas. I just throw all my vegetables in there. I also eat a lot of oatmeal. It’s so easy to make and it’s so filling. I just microwave it quick and I’m good to go.”
Q. What meal do you eat after the weigh in?
A. “I usually go hard with prime rib, a loaded sweet potato and whatever fixings and sides they can throw in there.”
Q. Which nationality of food is your favorite?
A. “Oh, my god, that’s difficult. I think it would be easier to list the few nationalities of foods I don’t like best. I guess I would have to go with good old American food. I love cheeseburgers and fries, and I love all the great breakfast foods. I also really like some barbecue ribs.”
Q. Anything in there inedible?
A. “Yeah, anything that’s towards the back of the fridge. We need to check expiration dates. We’re horrible with that at this house. Some of the food in there might get up and walk away.”
What are your three favorite meals?
“Cheeseburger and French fries, barbecue ribs and a big stack of pancakes.”
