Turn defense into attack by throwing your opponent with this osoto gari outer leg toss

Jimmy Pedro Jr

The US Olympic coach and 6th degree black belt shows you judo techniques that work for MMA, along with Aaron Kunuhiro

1 - Aaron is first to attack. He uses his right hand to grab Jimmy by the lapel.

2 - Jimmy counters by overhooking Aaron’s arm. Jimmy makes his control tighter by passing Aaron’s lapel into his left hand.

3 - Jimmy grabs Aaron’s left elbow with his right hand. Now he has completely closed the distance.

4 - Jimmy pulls Aaron’s left arm into his stomach and steps his left foot behind Aaron’s left knee.

5 - Jimmy steps forward with his right leg and kicks his left leg back, which reaps Aaron’s leg and takes him off his feet.

6 - Jimmy keeps control of Aaron’s sleeve as he lands to set up his next attack or advance position.
