Fight camp fuel from inside the ice-boxes of champions. The Louisiana lightweight can indulge a little more since his successful jump to 155lb.

Q. Name the five must-haves in your ice-box?

A. “If I’m in fight camp, it’s easy: blueberries, yogurt, chicken, spinach and eggs.”

Q. What do you gorge on?

A. “Oh, man; I love ice cream sandwiches and pizza, bro. Heck yeah! Forget about it.”

Q. What do you cheat with?

A. “I can eat a little more (since I moved up to lightweight) so I’m pretty happy about that. When I was at 145lb I couldn’t cheat at all. I don’t do pizza on the weekends or anything. I would say peanuts and nuts; stuff like that.”

Q. Do you keep anything other than frozen peas in your freezer?

A. “Shock Doctor ice packs. I can slip them on and ice my elbows, shoulders and knees after training hard.”

Q. What’s your favorite bottled sauce?

“I’m a hot-sauce guy. I like Tabasco. My favorite Louisiana hot sauce is Crystal. It’s hot!”

Q. What dessert do you enjoy?

A. “I’m a fatty man. My favorite thing to eat after a fight is carrot cake and a Newcastle beer. They go together like milk and cookies.”

Q. What’s your signature dish?

A. “I cook a lot actually. Pastas, crawfish; I’ll cook anything. All Louisiana food.”

Q. What’s your favorite meal during fight camp?

A. “I eat a lot of tuna – raw tuna. I throw some sauces on it. Good to go.”

Q. What food do you look forward to most after a fight?

A. “Pizza for sure. Any pizza. There’s no bad pizza.”

Q. Which nationality of food is your favorite?

A. “I’m going to have to go with Mexican food.”

Q. Is anything in there inedible?

A. “Nope. Everything is good to go in there.”

What are your three favorite meals?

Crawfish, steak asparagus with baked potato and then probably sushi.
