February 2015

We follow heavyweight super athlete Todd Duffee in the final weeks leading up to his triumphant return at UFC 18.

November 2014

SATURDAY 22ND

The returning UFC heavyweight takes time out of his first full MMA training camp in two years to attend the NPC National Bodybuilding Championships where he meets fans at the Gifted Nutrition booth.

THURSDAY 27TH

It’s Thanksgiving! But the festivities enjoyed by the rest of the US aren’t on Duffee’s mind as he endures a tough training session with Russian heavyweight Arsen Abdulkerimov.

SUNDAY 30TH

It’s Todd’s last day of camp at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida. “That`s a wrap! Big thanks to all of my training partners and coaches at ATT for a great camp. I’m ready,” he posts on his official Facebook page.

December 2014

MONDAY 1ST

Duffee touches down in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he’ll fight Anthony Hamilton at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Ever the dedicated athlete, the 8-2 heavyweight manages to grab some training time with his friend Brice Ritani-Coe at Omalza Fitness.

TUESDAY 2ND

Duffee decides to drop by the gym he used to train at when he lived in Vegas, Xtreme Couture, for some light training and to catch up with MMA legend Randy Couture. Afterwards he thanks his old coach for “good words” in an online post.

WEDNESDAY 3RD

It’s just days before his first fight since December 2012 and Todd is busy with pre-fight media activities along with the other fighters on the UFC 181 card. His happiness at being back after two years and a struggle with Pasonage-Turner syndrome is clear from his Facebook page: “This time last year, it hurt to grip a pen. Now I’m back signing posters for the main card of UFC 181. Can´t wait for Saturday!”

SATURDAY 6TH

It’s Duffee’s birthday and the night of the fight has finally arrived. He walks out as the favorite to win and doesn’t disappoint the bookmakers, delivering a well-placed right hand in the opening minute of round one that drops his opponent. The 29-year-old secures the KO winith a series of follow-up strikes to the fallen Hamilton to improve his record to 9-2 – the perfect birthday present.
