The bright red tennis shoe may look strange on the left foot of suited and booted new UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, but it highlights the feat of the man’s achievement in the UFC 185 main event in Texas. The 30-year-old became the first Brazilian lightweight champion in UFC history after he won every round against Anthony Pettis in the American Airlines Center, and he did it with a ruptured left knee. The Kings MMA star actually suffered a MCL injury three weeks before the biggest fight of his life, but didn’t let that stop him from producing the biggest upset of the year so far.
