Fan-favorite Mark Hunt turns businessman with clothing line

Those who enjoy UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt’s laid-back-yet-effective fight style can now also wear his brand-new line of casual wear. The New Zealand kickboxer recently founded the Juggernaut brand, which produces a range of clothing designed with the help of the fan favorite. The company says: “Mark is the director of Juggernaut and is actively involved in its growth and success, so when you buy a Juggernaut product you are not just supporting the brand but also the man himself.”

UFC ‘dropping’ TUF format for Chinese market

It appears the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: China may have been the last, as the UFC has gone back to the drawing board to find a way to draw eyeballs to its product in the Chinese market. UFC vice president of international business development, Joe Carr, recently told MMA in Asia: “What we found with TUF China 1 was although it was successful and got on a broad platform we need to find a format that’s really going to move the needle in China, that fans will appreciate, that’s going to resonate.”

Cormier reveals Mark Coleman is inspiring title charge

UFC light heavyweight contender Daniel Cormier says the accomplishments of friend, former UFC king and Pride tournament champ Mark Coleman, is encouraging him ahead of his 2015 title fight with Jon Jones. Speaking exclusively to Fighters Only, Cormier said a fellow Olympic wrestler reaching MMA dominance in the late ‘90s and early 2000s is inspiring him today. “To now be a friend and so close to him, it’s almost like everything has come full circle,” gushed Cormier. “To be a kid in Louisiana watching him wrestle in the world championships, watching him compete and make Olympic teams to watching him win the UFC championship... to sit here and rub elbows with him is a big deal.” 

TUF winner Court McGee launches initiative to help drug addicts

The Ultimate Fighter winner Court McGee is hoping to help drug addicts turn their lives around. ‘The Crusher’ recently created Hope361, which intends to share “inspirational stories of recovery to educate and give hope to those who are afflicted by addiction.” McGee once technically died after overdosing on a cocktail of narcotics before he was revived and later became a successful fighter.
