THE ESSENTIAL GEAR USED BY TODAY’S ATHLETES

The TUF 17 alumnus reveals all the gear that’s helped him go on a 3-0 run in the UFC

1/ RevGear GLOVES

“Revgear has been a company that has always sent me the stuff I need. I swear by its equipment and have been using it for years. Its gloves, both boxing and MMA style, are well made, comfortable and protect my hands and my sparring partners’ faces too!”

2/ HYPOXIC MASK

“I’ve been using these for some time now and while I know some people aren’t convinced, I find they work for me and really helps me to put gas in the tank.”

3/ RevGear HEAD GUARD

“This head guard’s far from new, but it fits great, protects great and overall just does its job very well. Revgear has always been good to me, long before The Ultimate Fighter and my UFC days. I have Revgear stuff from four years ago that still performs better than most brand-new stuff. If you look in my bag you will only see Revgear gloves, Revgear head gear.”

4/ UFC TRAINING GEAR

“I have a ton of fight shorts, T-shirts, rash guards and all kinds of stuff which I got from the UFC during my time on the show. It’s great stuff so why would I buy something else? In fact, I’m actually headed back to my old high school soon, we have practice at 4pm, and I’m wearing my TUF shorts.”

5/ RASH GUARDS

“I have so many, but the ones I wear most are the ones from The Ultimate Fighter as they keep you dry and are perform great too.”

6/ SHIN GUARDS

“I’m not a huge fan of wearing too much gear to train in. I prefer to train as near to how I will be in the fight. But if I’m contact sparring I’ll use shin guards, but mostly just the MMA-style ones. I don’t have a preferred brand.”

7/ UFC GYM Bag

“I still carry the UFC bag we got free when we all entered the TUF house.

It’s the same bag I still carry to this day. I put everything in that bag and it does the job. It’s perfect for carrying my training equipment and my fight shorts, rash guards and towel and stuff.”

8/ BOOK BAG

“I take a separate book bag to carry my clean clothes. I hate mixing my training gear with my normal clothes. If you don’t keep that stuff separate then you’re gonna stink all day.”
