Danger! Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is training with UFC stars and has MMA giants Bad Boy in his corner for back-up
Today, the numbers of would-be athletes turning to a cage career are many. As are the amount of pro sportspeople boosting their abilities with 4oz gloves. Just like Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray, pictured here wearing a sleek Bad Boy rash guard. Now sponsored by the MMA outfitters, he’s a longtime fan of the sport who’s trained with the UFC’s Demian Maia and Chris Weidman.
Murray said recently: “I began training MMA a few years ago, and quickly realized the increases in my strength, quickness, and agility.”
In fact, Murray, now in his sophomore season with the Texas-based NFL franchise, has ties with MMA even deeper than that. He’s not only from the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas, but attended Bishop Gorman, the same high school as UFC brass Frank Fertitta, Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White.
