The penultimate part of our unbreakable chain sequence
Dominated your gym with the first part of our multi-finish chain submissions map from last issue? You’ll be just about ready for our choke, triangle, biceps crush and armbar fight enders. As with last issue (available to back order if you missed out) drilling through this edition’s submissions in one sequence will help you speed between chokes and holds by reducing the time you need to think about the set-ups. This is part two of the series – next issue we give you the final links in the chain.

Finish 4
1 Having taken Ryan’s back, Pete (black shirt) punches his right hand behind Ryan’s neck and makes the mata leao (aka the rear naked choke) grip on his biceps. He squeezes his elbows to finish.
2 Ryan hand fights to resist the choke set-up.
3 Pete switches his grip, putting a figure-four on Ryan’s left arm.
4 Pete steps his right leg over Ryan’s head, hunting the armbar.
Finish 5
5 Pete squeezes his knees together and keeps Ryan’s thumb pointing up to finish the straight armbar.
6 Ryan grips his hands together to stop the armbar.
7 Pete crosses his left leg over the near arm.
Finish 6
8 His left forearm in the bend of Ryan’s elbow, Pete triangles his legs to apply a biceps crush.
9 Ryan resists the biceps crush, and Pete proceeds to slide his right leg beneath the near arm.
10 He allows Ryan’s head to come up and prepares to triangle his legs.
Finish 7

12 Ryan postures up to escape the triangle.
