Urijah Faber endures what he calls a “three-shirt day,” pushing his body so hard in training, in preparation for his UFC on Fox Sports 1 bout against Iuri Alcantara, that he sweats through three T-shirts. And T-shirts are the theme of the day, as he tweets pics of the two candidates for his next walkout shirt, calling for fans to help him decide.

SATURDAY 3rd
California’s favorite bantamweight spends the evening tweeting while watching UFC 163 from Rio, Brazil. Faber picks Vinny Magalhaes, Phil Davis and reigning 145lb champ José Aldo to get the wins, going 2-1 with his predictions due to jiu-jitsu champ Magalhaes being KO’d by Anthony Perosh in 14 seconds.
MONDAY 5th
Taking time out from his intense training, Urijah goes picking apples with agent Tommy Schurkamp and friends. Team Alpha Male’s trademark athleticism is on display in a video Urijah posts of the occasion as the group stack themselves three people high to get at the fruit in the trees.
FRIDAY 9th
After completing his training camp, he prepares to travel to the event’s host city, Boston. He then tweets a pic of himself and teammate Chad Mendes with a young fan who bears a striking resemblance to UFC president Dana White. “Gr8 running into ‘young’ @danawhite today in Sac,” he posts.
SUNDAY 11th
Faber almost runs in to two skunks on his evening run. With his fight against Brazilian scrapper Alcantara fast approaching, ‘The California Kid’ cranks his weight cutting up a notch with a Sunday sauna session, sporting a pair of Newcastle United FC flip-flops gifted to him by British TUF alumnus Andy Ogle.

It’s fight week in Boston. The former WEC champ entertains fans and media along with other top fighters on the card, including Chael Sonnen and Travis Browne, at the open workouts.

Urijah posts a video of himself being fed by movie star Craig Robinson, known for his roles in Pineapple Express and This is the End, post-weigh-ins. Faber reveals later that he put on a hefty 22lb in the 12 hours immediately after hitting 135.5lb on the scales.
SATURDAY 17TH
The moment of truth finally arrives as Urijah steps into the Octagon at the TD Garden in Boston in front of over 12,000 hyped-up fight fans. After three hard-fought rounds of action, the home favorite maintains his incredible record of never losing a non-title fight, earning a unanimous decision victory.
