Carano intimidates and ‘beats up’ Haywire co-stars

The Strikeforce beauty’s director, the Academy Award-winning Steven Soderbergh, remarked that some of Carano’s male co-stars were intimidated by her fighting acumen during filming of the Bourne Identity-type action thriller. Fellow Haywire actor Michael Douglas said regarding Carano’s fight sequences: “She beats the sh*t out of these guys. It’s like the real thing.”

The gym, often referred to as purely Miletich Fighting Systems by fans, was once the hub of Western mixed martial arts and at one time dominated the UFC title belts with names like Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver and Tim Sylvia.

When the US military says we can go in, we’ll go.” No fights were confirmed for the original event.
