Pound-For-Pound
I have been purchasing UFC Magazine for four months now and I have always wondered when I would be able to read about my most favorite fighter, until I bought the February issue of Fighters Only featuring José Aldo. Awesome, I am glad that I bought this magazine. The fact that you are MMA driven allows the average fan to read and get accustomed to different fighters in the US and around the world – as opposed to only reading about UFC-specific fighters. All I can say is once you go Fighters Only there is no going back to UFC.

Dirty Boxer?
Just wanted to send this email to you. I bought Paul Daley’s UFC 103 gloves he used to smash Martin Kampmann after he’d donated them in order to raise money for someone with cancer. I managed to get in touch with Rupert Smillie, who’d helped Paul donate the gloves, and told him what big fans of Paul my son and me are. We chatted and some how it got round to it that it was my son Grady’s birthday. Rupert said he was going to speak with Paul and would get back to me. A couple of days later I got a phone call to go down to Nottingham where we were greeted at Liberty Gym by Paul Daley. He thanked us for coming down and said to Grady, ‘Here mate I have something for you.’ He reached in his bag and produced his fight-worn gloves from BAMMA 5 signed and dated to Grady from Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley. He’d even taken the time to wrap a present: a limited edition UFC book. We sat and watched him train with Dean Amasinger for a couple of hours and then had a chat with them both. We thanked Paul for taking the time to meet us and he said, ‘No, thank you,’ and gave us both a hoodie each before we traveled home. I just want to say what fantastic guys Paul, Dean and Rupert are. They really made us feel welcome and went above and beyond making it a special day for my son. All of Paul’s bad publicity doesn’t match up to the chatty, witty, pleasant man we had the pleasure to meet.
