Amount per ticket Mark Hunt-beating heavyweight Sean McCorkle got for each of his four complimentary tickets prior to UFC 119. “They were really, really good seats,” explained McCorkle. “So I looked them up online and they were going for $450, $500 a pop so we walked back outside the arena and in about five minutes I sold my four tickets...unless that’s illegal in Indiana to scalp – I don’t know if it is or not – in that case I’m just joking.”

Number of days Chris Lytle was unable to use his phone leading up to UFC 119 in Indianapolis, a rematch with Matt Serra. The hometown star was getting so many requests for tickets he had to shut it off.

Chalk one up for symmetry as WEC 51 checked in with an attendance of 5,100. The event was held in Broomfield, Colorado, where the elevation is just north of the attendance at 5,344 feet…

…Those fans got to see a solid event that had three former WEC champs from three different weight classes. Former featherweight champ Mike Brown made quick work of Cole Province with a round-one TKO, and former bantamweight belt holder Miguel Torres earned ‘Submission of the Night’ over Charlie Valencia. Former lightweight champ Jamie Varner wasn’t so lucky; he lost a decision to archrival Donald Cerrone. It was the ‘Fight of the Night’ though.

The current WEC featherweight champ Jose Aldo successfully defended his title for a second time with a brutal stoppage of Manny Gamburyan in round number two. Aldo is now 18-1 and considered one of the best fighters on the planet.

Jason Miller submitted Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16. It was just the second time in Sakuraba’s storied career that he lost via submission, and both were due to an arm triangle choke.

The only other time Sakuraba was forced to tap came just over 14 years ago against Kimo Leopoldo in his first recorded fight.
