It seems like Matt Hughes has been called a ‘future hall of famer’ for an eternity. The UFC Fan Expo in May finally saw the former welterweight champion join the likes of Royce Gracie, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell in the UFC’s immortal echelon. His place in the hall of fame is secure, but the man with well over 40 wins isn’t ready to hang up his gloves just yet – he fights Ricardo Almeida on UFC 117 in Oakland, California.
