Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis launches himself – quite literally – into the annals of mixed martial arts history with a Matrix-inspired ‘Showtime’ kick to the face of fellow lightweight Ben Henderson at WEC 53.
Pettis used the cage to run up and deliver the strike at the end of the fifth round, securing him not only a unanimous points decision to snatch the WEC lightweight title, but also the seventh hottest Google topic the following day.
