According to Compustrike, Cain Velasquez landed 75 more strikes than Ben Rothwell in a dominating effort at UFC 104. Velasquez took Rothwell down four times and battered him with 82 strikes while getting hit just seven times.

Number of MMA events that took place in the month of November from the big MMA promotions: UFC, WEC and Strikeforce. UFC 105 was on Spike on the 14th, UFC 106 was on pay per view one week later. WEC 44 took place between the two UFC events. Strikeforce’s Challengers series was on the 6th and the 20th while the promotion’s CBS debut was on November 7th. Talk about a great month of MMA!
