This is YOUR page to tell us what you think of all things Fighters Only and MMA! What do you like?
What don’t you like? Who do you want to see fight who? Send us your pics of you with fighters - and if you can slip a copy of FO into the pic, even better!
Write or email in and the most interesting letter gets an FO T-shirt.
When on a recent trip in Las Vegas I bumped into not one but two UFC fighters - the UFC Hall of Famer and MMA legend Mark Coleman and grappling legend Dean Lister! Both were really cool guys who were kind enough to pose for a photo. Being a huge fan of the sport, this topped off an already amazing holiday. Thank you to both Mr Coleman and Mr Lister (if you read this fantastic magazine) and thank you to Fighters Only for a great magazine.

Event reports?
I’m a huge fan of your magazine and buy it every month.
My favourite part is definitely the interviews you do. You always feature a good mix of big names and up-and-coming guys I wouldn’t have heard of otherwise, and I like the way you have fighters from England, Europe, America, Japan and Brazil.
I see interviews on the web all the time but it’s always the same few guys and only ever the ones who are just about to fight. Fighters Only lets me find out about guys I’d never heard of otherwise, so please keep it up. I do have one question though. Why is it you don’t have as many event reports in as you used to?
Kevin, Loughborough, via email.
We’re glad you liked the interviews and hopefully you’ll enjoy some of the fighters we’ve got lined up for the future. To answer your question, we decided to make our event reports fit in the five-page ‘Commentary’ section due to the fact that coverage of events is often old news by the time you read it in Fighters Only. We understand that not everyone is online, so we still feature the biggest and best events from around the world. Our website, www.fightersonlymag.com, has all the breaking news and latest reports, so be sure to check the daily updates for everything MMA-related.
Re: Notes from Ringside,
Issue 42
While flicking through the issue 42 of your magazine, one article caught my eye as a must-read feature, ‘The Fine Art of Working a Corner’. As a member of a small club with no experience of working a corner and very few people to give me advice, I thought this was a chance to pick up a few tips. I read with interest how well-rehearsed cornermen could improve the chances of their fighter and with equal horror at the mistakes others were making. It is likely that I will be asked to corner a friend in the future and I do not put myself in the category of a well-rehearsed cornerman, so what can I do about it? The answer is that I don’t know because the article stopped short of offering any constructive advice. This may not have been the intention. However it would make an invaluable article for a future edition.
Richard Potter, Cumbria.
You’re exactly right Richard, it wasn’t the intention to offer advice as that is an entire article in itself! Although your suggestion has been noted - so watch this space!
