Far from the bright lights of ‘fight cities’ such as Las Vegas there exists a world of MMA you’d never even know about. One such example: the recent M-1 event in Makhachkala in Dagestan, Russia. Held in the President’s Palace (what is it with Russian premiers and fighting? Vladimir Putin is also a big fan of MMA) it saw fighters from all over the Russian territories meet in an evening of hard-hitting action, as you can see from this image.
