Silva: Pound-for-Pound King
GSP may be the most athletic, handsome and more charismatic of the current UFC champions, but Anderson Silva will most likely be the man to be remembered as the greatest of all time. The 185lb champ has often told of his desire to face the best fighters in the world and move through the weight classes, so the UFC were only too happy to oblige by setting him up with former 205lb title holder Forrest Griffin. Three minutes and 23 seconds was all it took for Silva to prove he is undoubtedly the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world
Edith fired for being hungover?
Eagle-eyed fans will have noticed the sudden removal of Edith LaBelle from the UFC’s website. She wasn’t in attendance for UFC 100, and the talk is that she was fired for calling in hungover after a hard night of partying in Vegas’ notorious nightclubs. We will certainly miss Edith (and her massive talents), but our heartbreak didn’t last for long as the UFC have brought in new Octagon girl Natasha – she’s the sexy new blond girl who joined Arianny and Logan at UFC 101.

Case in point #1439: Brian Bowles (going in at 7-0-0) knocking out Miguel Torres (who was 37-1-0) inside one round to win the WEC 135lb title.
The UFC are shipping up to Boston
UFC president Dana White has announced that the UFC will host an event in Boston by next summer. The Boston-born businessman has long wanted to take the UFC there. When the Massachusetts state senate passed a bill last month to regulate MMA, that wish can now happen.
